Styled to Rock week 3: Kelly Osbourne rocks the red carpet

    This week on Styled to Rock, remaining designers' challenge is to design a dress for Kelly Osbourne for a red carpet event.  The the kicker is they cant use any black, the stlye has to be punk meets elegant and classy.  They were introduced to A-list designer Chris Benz " the prince of color". He works very closely with Kelly, so he's there to help them with their creative process and with last looks.

    This week  was also all about curve balls. Sergio Hudson and Laura T were brought on as new talent to replace the 2 eliminated last week. They had 24 hrs to sketch, shop and start their designs by the time of the pull.  So designers Laura P, Dexter, Kristie, Laura T, Andre, Adam, Ebony did not make the pull and were up for elimination. Sergio made the pull, I cant wait to see his work. He is a high end cocktail/evening wear designer from North Carolina.  His clientele are women 30 and up with money, but he wants to use the show to help him get his name and his brand out there.

     Only the top 4 picks got to show their looks to Kelly. They were Segio, Cecilia, Ahni and Autumn, I liked Autumn and Sergio's best. Sergio and Ahni's looks were picked for further look. The winning look was Sergio. Congrats to him being a newbie!!!!

   

The dresses that did not make the pull were awful. I did like Kristies dress though. Andre is so weird and crazy. He came out in a little old lady church outfit and his designs are all over the place. Ebony and Adam were called down and were up for elimination. Adam has been up for elimination 3 times, but the panel feels that he hasn't found his signature and that his designs are still developing so Ebony was elinimated this week.
