Dear Diary,
This week(end) was all about fashion... EVERYWHERE.
In New York it is fashion week. Designers and the like people showcased their SS18 looks and it's all about gender and age fluid clothes, textures, prints, vibrant colors and everything retro chic. I love it! The upcoming fashion trends are for all people. If you have something in your closet that you think you would be embarrassed to wear, now is the time to put it on and find some shoes to match. This is also the perfect time to raid granny's closet, you may find something from the 60s or 80s and you can pair it with some something from your closet.
Here in Columbus, Ohio we had a fashion event at Easton Town Center and I got to meet the lovely ladies of ELOQUII. They were having a grand opening. I'm so excited because now we Lane Bryant, Catherines, Forever XXI, Torrid and now ELOQUII. Columbus is slowly but surely coming around to the plus size fashion train. They had a photobooth, champagne, cute little cakes and of course 30% off. Be sure to stop in and check them out at 160 Easton Town Center Columbus, Ohio 43219. Rihanna's 3rd annual Clara Lionel Foundation event was a fashion studded red carpet soiree that was held September 14, 2017. With performances by Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris, it was hosted by the great Dave Chappelle almost every celebrity that you could think of in the music industry was in attendance. The Barbadian beauty raised over $5 million dollars at this years event. In August she offered fans a chance to attend with a $1 ticket donation. The campaign was to help raise money for education. It ran for two weeks and the lucky winner won one night at a hotel and 2 tickets to the event.
The belle of the ball award goes to Miss Cardi B, she looked absolutely fabulous in this gown. She has a great team. This gown was stunning. The Cinderella style light green, Christian Siriano gown was to die for. Check out her IG and she sends him a huge shoutout. Check out the hashtag #diamondball2017 for more pics.
Tonight is the Emmy Awards so I will have my popcorn and notpad ready for the red carpet looks of the night. Stay tuned.
