I went to a great event at Kate Spade at Easton hosted by Sarah
Cook with guest speaker Kelly. She runs a successful yoga/workout studio here
in Columbus. She was absolutely fabulous. Not only was she stylish and wore a
bomb pair of heels, but she spoke to my soul. She kept it real. I was nervous
about going and at one point during the day siked myself out about going. This
week has been so crazy and trying. Meeting her was amazing. She was telling
the story of getting her first studio and how she got her start.
The message was all about perseverance and trial and error
and NEVER GIVING UP. The road along the journey is and can be a bumpy one but
all it takes is one step. It’s also about linking up with the right people.
Sometimes the people that you think are rooting for are praying for your
downfall.
Link up with like-minded people and people who are
business minded and that may not be in the same field. I am glad to have met
her and the other ladies at the event. It was about taking risks and that
things take time. Set a goal and mapping out your journey. J
